MacArthur Park Lutheran school, a ministry of MacArthur Park Lutheran Church, has been educating children of all ages since 1963.  We offer care for children ages 18 months through 1st grade.  The children’s days are filled with age appropriate activities including daily chapel, music class, and visits to our library.

Our curricula include Handwriting without Tears, Frog Street, Sadlier, Steck Vaugn, and Evan Moore, while also adhering to the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills). Offering well-rounded lessons and creating an excellent educational experience is key to our mission, with hands-on learning as an important part of our early childhood classrooms.  We focus on educating the whole child, not just passing tests. Academics as well as social and emotional development are at the center of our daily teaching.

Located on the Northeast side of town near the airport and loop 410, it is very convenient for families both in the area, and those who commute to reach us. Our beautiful tree-covered campus makes outdoor learning comfortable year-round, with small class sizes and an optimum teacher/student ratio to make sure every child receives the help they need.

Children 18 months through 3 years have class from 8:00am until Noon (12:00pm), while pre-kindergarten through 1st grade have a full school day, with class from 8:00am to 2:30pm. Extended care is also available, with staff on campus from 6:30am till 6:00pm every school day. For convenience for families, MPLS follows the NEISD school calendar and accepts CCDS.
